Responsibilities:
Job Overview: Addressing packaging damages on the production line to ensure a continuous flow on the conveyor. Adherence to all packaging, damage, and stock processes is essential.
Monitor packaging damages on the line to maintain an uninterrupted flow on the conveyor.
Assist in achieving the planned throughput targets for the shift.
Ensure compliance with all packaging, damage, and stock processes.
Facilitate communication with operators to ensure a smooth workflow.
Engage with supervisors regarding any issues encountered during the shift.
Comply with food safety standards to reduce potential risks to the product.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe working practices.
Maintain general cleanliness and organization in accordance with the 5S principles.
Consistently align with the company’s core values and demonstrate them at all times.
Provide support to the production department as needed.
Assist during equipment malfunctions to mitigate negative effects on the shift’s productivity.
Qualifications:
Minimum: NQF Level 4 or Grade 12 or an equivalent relevant qualification.
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
