DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a dependable driver to become a part of the engineering workshop team at Viking, South Arm. The individual will be tasked with operating and maintaining the vehicle, prioritizing safety at all times. Responsibilities include transporting goods and personnel safely to various locations and promptly reporting any issues to management. The driver will conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain a daily driver logbook, and adhere to the driving schedule as directed by the foreman. Additionally, when not engaged in driving duties, the driver will assist in the Fitters workshop and must ensure that the vehicle remains clean and in optimal working condition.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of Grade 12 is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, code 10, is required.
The candidate must demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
