Essential Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • A minimum of 6 months of sales experience within a Vitamins or Health environment
  • Proficient in English
  • Competent in MS Office software
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Willing to work flexible retail hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology, or a related health field
  • Experience in retail sales
  • Familiarity with the health industry, including vitamins, supplements, or health foods
  • Proficiency in a second language widely spoken in the area

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting and advising shoppers
  • Support stock organization and management to ensure smooth store operations
  • Maintain well-stocked and attractive merchandise displays in the health section
  • Notify management of any price discrepancies
  • Follow store layouts and guidelines specific to the Health Department
  • Ensure promotional and broadsheet items are effectively displayed and available
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for the team, brand, and vendors
  • Stay updated on new products and lines in the health sector
  • Adhere to all departmental procedures, including stock control and weekly returns
