Job Purpose:
The invigilator is tasked with ensuring the orderly conduct of examinations and upholding the integrity of the assessment process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise students to prevent any form of malpractice during assessments.
- Distribute answer booklets and examination papers to students.
- Ensure compliance with assessment conditions and policy requirements at all times.
- Prepare assessment venues to meet necessary standards.
- Provide assistance in case of emergencies, such as a sick student or fire evacuation.
- Address any questions or concerns raised by students during assessments.
- Compile a comprehensive report at the conclusion of each session.
- Safeguard the safety and integrity of the assessment materials.
- Monitor students throughout the assessments to detect any irregularities.
- Ensure that only authorized students access the venue during assessments.
- Verify that students present in the venue meet the academic criteria for taking the assessment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (NQF Level 4)
- Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) or Diploma (NQF Level 6) is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the industry.
- No criminal record.
